RMIM Puraskaar 2011: the results are out

The results for RMIM Puraskaar 2011 are out. A big round of applause to Vinay for continuing to nurture this wonderful idea. (Disclaimer: YT was on the jury this year). Take a look, vent, rave, applaud, curse and do whatever it is you'd like to do. It's all in good fun and nothing faux serious like the Filmfare Awards.

announcing: RMIM Puraskaar 2008

That's the second time in a row that I have delayed my post. Time to go listen to tandoori nights. Vinay is back with the third edition of RMIM Puraskaar. Voting closes tentatively by the middle of this month (not many days left).

The announcement's also posted on the giitaayan blog.

RMIM Puraskaar 2007: the results are out

The results for RMIM Puraskaar 2007 (mentioned hereabouts) are out. A big round of applause to Vinay for continuing to nurture this wonderful idea. (Disclaimer: YT was on the jury). This time around I also got to get my hands dirty with some code assisting with collecting song metadata -- all with the JavaSound API through an MP3 SPI, the Java Excel API and OpenCSV mixed with strategies. All in good fun and I now also have a way to check the tags on my MP3s.
