new word: pluot ... and a deceptive typo

my colleague mentioned a pluot yesterday and even got one in today: it's a fruit hybrid of plum (2/3) and apricot (1/3). The other variant -- 2/3 apricot and 1/3 plum -- is an aprium. Both are products of the experiments of Floyd Zaiger in fruit genetics.

Serves me right also for being prematurely pedantically narrow-minded when I saw the word materiel and said, "that should be material". Now I know another interesting word. Cool.
