New Unix version of Yahoo! Messenger: Just found a post (thanks to a little message from a friend) about a new version of the Unix release of Yahoo! Messenger (which hasn't been updated for such a long long time). This is the result of some hacking from the Yahoo! office in Bangalore. Although a rather unstable beta, it makes up a lot of lost ground between the previous version and the new Windows versions. Status messages appear at the bottom-right corner of the screen (as in Windows) instead of popping up as unsavoury dialogues. Great going!
