Today is a day of Internet Radio Silence in protest of the CARP bill. {TechTV}. Since May 1 is Labour Day in most parts of the world except the U.S., it's a fitting choice for internet radio stations to get their message out. For those not in the know, this protest is an expression of the concern over the upcoming U.S. Copyright Office ruling on royalty rates that may shut down or bankrupt the vast majority of the nascent Internet radio industry.
